     11/12:  Monthly Member Meeting, 2:00 pm, MSUFCU Farm Lane branch (4825 E Mt Hope Rd, EL):  MSU Professor Robert Walker goes into the Amazon on field campaigns most summers with support from the National Science Foundation.  They study how loggers build roads into the virgin rainforest, thereby opening the door to agricultural colonization.  This program should serve as a wake up call to all of us on how nature is teetering on the brink and what we might be able to do about it.
 
     11/13:  Tour the MSU Recycling Plant and Surplus Store with MSURA, 1 pm, contact VP Rosemary Pavlik  pavlik@msu.edu  if additional info is needed.
