MSU Community Music School Auditorium, 4930 S Hagadorn Rd, East Lansing. May 17-18 10am-6pm: East Lansing Art Festival celebrates fine art and craft throughout downtown East Lansing. Over 200 juried artists from the U.S. and Canada exhibit and sell their work. Free performances, hands-ons arts activities for all ages, and a food court offer big city quality with a hometown welcome. An outdoor music stage will be located outside of East Lansing City Hall. Downtown East Lansing. May 17 9am-6pm & May 18 10am-5pm: 50th Annual MSU Spring Arts and Crafts Show is one of the largest arts and crafts shows in the state with over 300 different booths. This year's show includes many returning favorites as well as brand new artists. There will be a broad range of exhibitors selling handmade items. Parking is available on campus for shoppers. The Grand River Parking Ramp is also open. Concession, MSU Dairy Store Ice Cream, and restrooms are available on-site. MSU Union, corner of Abbot & Grand River, East Lansing. May 18 2pm: Steiner Chorale Concert ($10) featuring opera performer George Shirley. The chorale will present the worldwide premier of "To Music," a work composed by Mark Volkert and commissioned by the Chorale. All Saints Episcopal Church, 800 Abbot Road, East Lansing. May 18 7:30pm: MSU Russian Chorus (free) performs a cappella choral music of Russia and Eastern Europe. Handicap accessible from Seymour Avenue parking lot. May 23-25: Fiesta 2014 features authentic Mexican and Latino food as well as music and vendors' areas offering clothing and wares from all over Latin America. Purchase a 'passport' for $1 to get admission to over 50 attractions. Special CATA Be-a-Tourist bus routes provide transportation to most of the attractions for just 50 cents.
