MSURA INTEREST GROUP EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS
 
     Birders Group:  Meet other local birdwatchers, share sightings, learn about “birding hot spots” for locations in Greater Lansing as well as the State of Michigan.  Birders who want to report or learn about rare bird sightings, as well as about interesting birds and timings or arrival or departures are encouraged to connect.  All interest levels are welcome from the avid birder to the backyard enthusiast.  If you might be interested in joining this group, please email Cathy Estrada at cje1026@yahoo.com
 
     Would you like to propose a new interest group for the MSU Retirees Association?  If so, please write up a short description which we can place on our web site, in e-Notices, and in the newsletter.  Send this via e-mail to msura@msu.edu.  If you don’t use e-mail, you may send a paper copy to us at 22 Nisbet Building, MSU, 1407 South Harrison Avenue, East Lansing, MI 48823-5239.  Please note that we cannot list a proposed interest group unless there is a specific individual who is willing to serve as organizer/leader, together with e-mail and/or telephone number that interested people can use to contact the leader.  Please remember that not all of our retirees use the Internet, so a telephone number is sometimes helpful for some interest groups.

     eBooks, eMagazines, and audio books may be available through your local library.  Libraries have been expanding the digital resources which you can access from your home computer, tablet, smartphone, or eReader device.  For example, the CADL-affiliated libraries in the Greater Lansing area have 100 popular magazines which you can access from your computer, tablet, or smartphone -- for free.  Contact your local library and inquire about digital resources and classes to help you learn to use them.
