INTEREST GROUP EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS iPad Classes: (1) Have you recently gotten an iPad? A little help can go a long way, and you can have fun learning how to use it in the IPAD FUNDAMENTALS class. (2) Have you been using an iPad for awhile? Explore a variety of iPad topics and apps in the IPAD SOLUTIONS class. (3) Bring your fully charged iPad and your Apple ID login information (for the App Store) to each class. (4) If you are interested in participating in either class, please email Gordon Williams at: gordonw@msu.edu COMMUNITY EVENTS & ANNOUNCEMENTS The Meridian Senior Center is currently looking for retirees interested in teaching/sharing their skills. The Center is hoping to get off the ground something similar to a lifelong learning/continuing education program. Libraries have been expanding the digital resources which you can access from your home computer, tablet, smartphone, or eReader device. For example, the CADL-affiliated libraries in the Greater Lansing area have 100 popular magazines which you can access from your computer, tablet, or smartphone -- for free. Contact your local library and inquire about digital resources and classes to help you learn to use them.
