     FYI:  Because some elements of the Affordable Care Act's implementation have recently been delayed at the national level, the previously announced presentation by HR has been postponed.

     Golfers:  Retirees are eligible to join the Faculty-Staff Golf League, which plays every Saturday morning during golfing weather at Forest Akers West.  It is a very flexible and convenient setup; sign up to play (by Wednesday) on weekends that you want to play, and you only pay when you play.  No need to find substitutes, as in other leagues.      Senior housing survey -- The Friends of the East Lansing Seniors’ Program, Prime Time Seniors’ Program and the City of East Lansing invite MSU retirees to share their thoughts with regard to their current and/or future housing needs by completing the survey “Welcome Home, A Housing Assessment for Senior Residents.”  The survey provides an opportunity for senior residents and prospective senior residents to share what factors they will consider when making future housing decisions.  Factors might include moving closer to Michigan State University, moving into a condominium, down-sizing, moving into a single-family home, moving near downtown East Lansing, moving into an apartment, moving into a retirement community, living near shopping, living somewhere affordable, living in a home with universal design elements and/or more.
